QIWI uses Smart Engines technology to work with clients

The installment card project of company QIWI integrated the ID card recognition module, developed by Smart Engines, into the mobile application for its sales agents.

Smart IDReader technology is used for scanning and automatic filling of personal data when drawing cards of interest-free installments. It takes a few seconds to recognize the document.

QIWI is a leading provider of next generation payment services in the CIS. It has an integrated proprietary network that enables payment services across physical, online and mobile channels. It has deployed over 19.0 million virtual wallets, over 152,000 kiosks and terminals, and enabled merchants to accept over RUB 78 billion cash and electronic payments monthly from over 51 million consumers using its network at least once a month.

Mobile agency application is intended for registration of installment cards to customers. At the meeting with the future owner of the card, the agent must check the correctness of the user’s passport data and quickly confirm them in the mobile application in order to transfer the card to the client.

To work in a mobile application, agents use corporate tablets based on Android. The application integrates Smart IDReader technology, it allows you to recognize ID cards in real time. To “extract” the data of the document, it is enough to show it to the camera of the tablet for only a few seconds.
