The International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR 2019) is the major and most notable event for the document analysis community. Held for the 15th time, the conference has a 30 years history of bringing together researchers, scientists, and practitioners from all over the world to present their latest research findings in the field of document analysis and recognition and discuss its practical application.
This year the conference will be organized by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and will be held in Australia, at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney.
Smart Engines team will present conference papers on the following topics:
• HoughNet: neural network architecture for vanishing points detection;
• Fast method of ID documents location and type identification for mobile and server application;
• On optimal stopping strategies for text recognition in a video stream as an application of a monotone sequential decision model.
After the conference the papers will be available in the Xplore Digital Library (https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplore/home.jspIEEE).
