Smart Code Engine 1.4.0 extracts data from credit cards of 21 payment systems worldwide

Smart Engines has introduced an enhanced AI-driven solution for scanning credit cards of 21 payment systems. This new option enters into Smart Code Engine SDK 1.4.0 that now enables company’s customers to scan various bank cards of the main national and transnational payment systems worldwide while making a payment or a transfer. The accuracy of scanning card reaches 99.68%.

At a speed of as low as 0.04 seconds per frame, Smart Code Engine SDK scans and recognizes debit and credit cards, securely extracts the card number (14-19 digits), the expiration date, the cardholder’s first and last name and IBAN card numbers. The technology provides an automatic recognition for banking cards of any types: embossed, indent and flat printed, with horizontal or portrait layout, with digits written on the front or backside of the card, in standard or flexible formats. 

The state-of-the-art technology is resistant to poor lighting conditions and geometrical distortions. So, a customer does not need to focus on the card during recognition – Smart Code Engine AI algorithms detect the card at any angles and even when the card is not entirely within the capture frame. This software can be used for fast and precise scanning on any devices, including smartphones, tablets, mobile terminals, thin clients, as well as on any kind of servers and PCs.
